Petter, who’s been without a record deal since last year when he chose not to renew his deal with Universal Music recently signed a deal with Pope Records. Pope Records will release his upcoming album “En Räddare I Nöden” which will be released sometime this spring. Pope Records are excited about the deal and says that:
“Petter has recorded his strongest and best material yet, and this phase two of his career is going to be something extra!”
The first single from the album is called “Fast För Evigt” and is produced by Collén & Webb who’s also going to produce the whole album. “Fast För Evigt” is available for listening on Petters Blog and will be available through Spotify Premium from Monday and trough iTunes Music Store, Spotify Free and other digital music stores from Wednesday.
PH3 gives you an early Christmas present in the form of a video to their track “Telefon”. The single will be officially released on Pope Records/Universal Music on January 15 (it was released independently by PH3 earlier this year). The video is directed by Elinor Aldal.
PH3, which consists of Eye N’I,Profilen, Nils Wallfält, Salem Al Fakir and Jacob Birgersson will release a new album this spring which apparently will be about
subscribers and non-subscribers
I have still no idea what that means, but some clues might be found on their website!
Last night Promoe’s release party for his swedish album “Kråksången” went down at Pluto in Västerås. Tonight it’s time for Promoe to take stage at Ljunggrens in Stockholm. The release date for the record is 29th of April and you can pre-order the album as usually over at Bengans.
And since yesterday evening you can listen to “Kråksången’s” all fifteens tracks featuring Supreme, Timbuktu, PST/Q, Organism 12, Afasi, Vincent and Magnus Betnér(?!) at Promoe’s MySpace! I haven’t listen to the album yet but I guarantee that we will come back with a review on the record later on. Happy listening!
The release of Promoe’s album “Kråksången” is getting closer and now the video to his first single “Svennebanan” is finally out! POPE Records described it on their blog as “the sickest, funniest and also dopest video Promoe ever made. /…/ You’re not ready!” and I have to agree. The video is directed by Kamisol and the track is produced by Filthy. The track will be avaliable through iTunes and other digital stores later this week.
“Krångsången” will be out on JuJu Records on April 29, you can pre-order the album here!
Ken Ring released the first single from his upcoming album, “Hip Hop” a couple of weeks ago through the DN PåStan blog. The video, which is a mix of newly recorded material and some old footage from the archives, premiered today on his blog.
The video is directed by Maceo Frost and the track is produced by MarksBeats, recorded by Dawouid in Dehdinpoik Studios and mixed by Ken Ring.
This definitely sounds promising and I’m really looking forward to his album, which will be released sometime during May on POPE Records
When Ken Ring released his last album, “Äntligen Hemma” he stated that it would be his last album as a rapper and that he from that point on would focus on producing. Fortunately he changed his mind and is now, the same year that he’s celebrating 10 years as an artist, releasing his 10th album. The album is called “Hiphop” and will be released sometime during May on Pope Records.
The first single from this album is also called “Hiphop” and it describes his career and life in music.
One new video after another. Seems like everyone is dropping new movies at the moment, but hey – I do not complain! Now it’s the Uppsala duo Afasi & Filthy’s turn. It’s their third single called “Sverigetrotters” from the record “Fläcken” which was released this spring through Pope Records. This one will probably get the same good attention at their last two singles “Glider” and “Jobb“!
